Seishun 18: Tottori
We got to Tottori from Miyajima in the evening. The next morning it was cold and rainy but we still wanted to go to the sand dunes that we were in Tottori for! After having some trouble finding the right bus that would take us there (including trying to ask this train man about it without actually knowing what ‘sand dunes’ was in Japanese xD ‘the thing that’s like a beach!’ haha) we got there.
It was just… lots of sand! Pretty cool because I’ve never been to sand dunes ever before. But it was really cold and really windy (there was even a patch of ice there!) so it didn’t feel desert-y at all. That was also the reason why there were no camels out D: but it was still fun :D Climbing up huge mountains of sand is a real workout!
I took lots of pictures… but I’m not going to post them all up because they’re all just of sand xD

Sand, sand, sand!
Gahhh I really have to update more >_< All this stuff happened in March! I have so much to catch up on!
