Seishun 18: Hiroshima
After returning from our Osaka/Kyoto + other places trip, we stayed in Tokyo for a little while to recuperate and headed out again on an epic trip using the Seishun 18 Kippu! It’s amazing for people who want to travel for cheap and don’t mind really long train rides!
Also props to my friend for planning this whole trip!
We set off on the first train from Takadanobaba and reached Hiroshima 16 hours later. We checked in into our hostel and got a good nights sleep and went to the Hiroshima Peace Park the next morning.
The park is beautiful but at the same time very depressing. The museum was also very informative but so so depressing. Of course I wasn’t expecting it to be a happy place but I think I came out more depressed than I thought I’d be! Anyhow, pictures!

Paper cranes from all over the world

After the park, we wandered down Hondori and the surrounding shopping streets before having a dinner of Hiroshimayaki at Okonomura and it was amazing!! A must try!
