Nijojo and Kobe

On the last day of this trip, we went to Nijo castle and then made a quick stop in Kobe!

Nijo Castle! I was so amazed at the nightingale sounds that came from the floor when people walked on it (although I don’t really know what a nightingale sounds like haha). No pictures inside!

After walking around the castle grounds we headed to Kobe. It was raining and really grey D: We were mainly here for the Kobe Earthquake Memorial Park - where they’ve preserved a strip of land from the earthquake showing the damage done. That and kobe beef but it was too expensive!

Kobe Earthquake Memorial Park

We walked around downtown Kobe for a bit but it was really rainy and wet so we headed back to Kyoto and killed time at a cafe and Mister Donut until the night bus took us home! And that was the end of this trip!
