Furoshiki and Origami
Last Tuesday in Japanese class, we had more of those learn about Japanese culture classes instead of the normal Japanese language class! This time we learnt how to wrap objects up in furoshiki and then after that, we had a class on origami!
You can wrap objects of so many different shapes in furoshiki! After the class, I was tempted to get some furoshiki myself and wrap stuff up xD It’s more environmentally friendly than a plastic bag and it’s quite pretty so it’s perfect for gift wrapping.

In the yellow furoshiki we wrapped up two wine bottles and the one on the left is just pretty :D
The origami class was really 懐かしい〜 I used to love origami when I was a kid so doing it again brought back memories :D

Stuff I made! There was also a ball… but it’s no longer a ball D: I squished it T_T

We got lots of souvenirs from the origami sensei~ one of them was this! Origami lips :D
The semester is almost over! I had my one (and only xD) final today! Now just quizzes and a speech in Japanese classes and a paper for my Buddhism class and I’m done! I’m happy it’s nearly the holidays again but sad that time is passing by so quickly D:
